UTellUs is an exclusive research community of adults from all walks of life who are interested in sharing their day-to-day experiences and views on a variety of topics with business executives, elected officials, policy makers, and other leaders around the country.
A research panel consists of a group of individuals who have agreed to take part in marketing and public opinions surveys for an extended period of time. These individuals share their experiences and their opinions on a wide range of topics that can vary from products to national events. Companies, organizations, elected officials, and other leaders all turn to research panels because they offer a reliable way of hearing the thoughts and perspectives of the people they are trying to serve.
UTellUs is an invitation only community. We will reach out to you asking you to join us. To be eligible to participate in the community panel, you will need to complete an initial registration survey, either online or over the phone. We'll ask you some questions to see if you qualify and also some demographic questions to help us classify your answers. If you provide us with your email, once this survey has been completed we will send you a confirmation email. You must click on the link in the confirmation email in order to begin receiving surveys and earning great rewards. If you do not have an email, you may register over the phone and we will confirm your intent to join us during the call.
You get a chance to express your opinions and ideas, earn points that you can redeem for great gift cards for doing so and have fun!

Yes, members can opt-out by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the website or any survey invite to cancel their membership. Alternatively, members can submit a request via the Contact Us form or send an email to support@UTellUspanel.com with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.
We collect some personal data about each member for a number of reasons:
- It enables us to contact you about research in which you can take part (i.e. surveys and/or poll questions) and to also let you know about your reward points and if you've won a prize for your participation.
- It enables us to contact you with surveys that are specifically relevant to you and your lifestyle.
- It helps us to analyze the survey data by different categories such as gender, age or the region members live in.
Toluna takes the security of your personal data very seriously and abides by the codes of conduct upheld by the leading organizations in the industry: CASRO, ESOMAR, and AAPOR.
This means that your data is confidential and used only for research purposes. We will never try to sell you anything or provide your information to 3rd parties.

When you log into the community, you will be able to take part in our latest poll and see which surveys are available for you to take right on the Home page. You can also go directly to the "My Surveys" page.
If you've provided an email address, for each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. For those members, the community research will be conducted on the Web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the Website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the community website under the "My Surveys" page. You can take surveys from a computer, cell phone or tablet. If you do not have an email address, you will receive a phone call to participate in our surveys. If you're not available when we call, we will try to arrange a time to call you back.
On average, you will be sent a survey invitation or receive a phone call with a survey about once or twice per month. There will also be new Quick Polls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.
You are welcome to take part in as many surveys, vote in as many polls and participate in as many other activities you are invited to as you like.
On average, our surveys are approximately 10-15 minutes; however, some can be as short as 5 minutes and others can be longer than 15 minutes. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary and we let you know the approximate length of the survey in the invitation or on the phone so you can plan accordingly. As well, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.
On the public home page, or once you log in, you can find the poll on the private "Home" page. Simply choose a response and click the "Vote" button. Once you have completed the poll, you will be able to see the current results.
Absolutely – from the moment you join you have the opportunity to participate in activities and earn points for everything you do. Points can be redeemed for electronic gift cards that you receive immediately after you request them on the Reward page of the community or for a gift card that you receive in the mail. You can choose what works best for you. In addition, there will be other initiatives that will allow you to be entered into sweepstakes in addition to the points you earn. Our invitation for each survey or other activity will state the compensation. If participating in surveys over the phone, we will let you know the reward for participating at the beginning of the call.

Every time you participate in a survey or other activity or vote in a poll, you will earn points. 100 points = $1.00 toward the gift cards of your choice.
Points values for typical activities
- Survey 5-25 minutes = 125 to 500 points
- Survey - if you do not qualify = 25 points
- Discussion board post = 25 points per board
- Quick poll = 10 points
Special activities, like online focus groups, live chats, etc. start at 500 points and can go much higher depending on the project! When you reach 2000 points you can redeem for a $20 gift card – choices include Amazon, iTunes®, Starbucks and Reward Link. Reward Link allows you to choose from a wide variety of additional gift card options. More information on Reward Link e-gift cards is available here. There are also many physical gift card options that you can request to receive in the mail.
You can also save your points and redeem for a $25 or $50 gift card instead.

You can see your points and account balance on the "My Rewards" Page and can select to redeem them for a variety of gift cards from there. If you don't have an email, we will be mailing you out regular updates with your points balance. You may also call us at any time to request your points balance.
There is no limit to the number of points you can earn.
Yes, reward points will expire 12 months from the date earned.
